Saturday Evening Concert

Choir of The World Luciano Pavarotti

The Pavarotti Trophy

The incomparable Choir of the World competition.

Winning choirs from the five major choral competitions sing it out  in the grand final. The winner is awarded the famous Pavarotti Trophy named for the great Italian tenor who competed on the Eisteddfod stage in 1955 when his choir from Modena won the Men's Choir Competition. In 2005, Luciano Pavarotti added his name to the Choir of the World Competition.

The first half of the concert will be presented by the world champions of brass, Wales’ own Cory Band.
